Introduction
In order to meet the needs of deep learning,
machine learning and various data analysis in our school, the College of
Intelligent Science and Technology has introduced artificial intelligence
supercomputers to build an AI computing service platform to support teaching
and research.
AI Computing Services
Users apply for the approval from the
unit-in-charge to create a platform account and obtain the service model of
GPU, CPU, memory, storage and other resources configured by the
supercomputer.
Equipment
8 NVIDIA A100 GPU graphics cards
GPU memory 320GB
Two AMD Rome7742 128-core CPUs
System memory 1TB
System hard drive 15TB
Peripheral storage device 16TB
Ubuntu 18.04, Jupyter Lab, MATLAB 2021a
Service Application
Users need to fill in the "Artificial
Intelligence Supercomputer Service Application Form" to apply for the
service.
Charging and Payment Methods
The user-pays principle is adopted, and users
can pay the usage fee themselves or through the school-shared equipment
incentive.
Remarks
1.
Users must have knowledge of Linux, Python, MATLAB, etc.
2.
Programs that require a large amount of space can use a storage space
with a total capacity of 10TB (/tmp_data). This folder is a shared temporary
storage space. The administrator will perform maintenance and delete files from
time to time depending on the situation without notifying the user separately.
3.
The College of Intelligent Science and Technology is an AI computing
service resource provider. Due to limited manpower, it is unable to assist
individual users with program development and debugging.
4.
For other precautions, please read the "Operation Guidelines
on Artificial Intelligence Supercomputer Use and Management at
College of Intelligent Science and Technology of I-Shou University."
5.
The A100 supercomputer is not open to off-campus IP use unless requested
in advance.
